SILVER FIR MEDIA & THE GSA

Silver Fir Media began as a small two-person operation making interpretive films exclusively for the National Park Service. Today, we work with a variety of government clients creating engaging, educational films that inspire stewardship. In 2014, we were awarded a General Services Administration contract, allowing us to work with our federal clients more easily.

We specialize in orientation and interpretive films, natural and cultural resources, scientific monitoring, wilderness, climate change, and public service announcements. Our clients rely on us to create films that inspire and provoke viewers to broaden their horizons and take action.

We find that we can best achieve this through our unique documentary film style. Traditional documentary elements can sometimes fall flat, but we are constantly pushing for new and creative ways to tell your stories.

Our focus on creating innovative new content has landed our films in prestigious film festivals around the world. Our film “OBED: Find Yourself Here” won the 2014 National Association for Interpretation Media Award for Best Short Film.
